Shipping policy

Every order ships from Stanardsville, Virginia, packed by hand in a small home-run shop.

Processing time

Orders are usually packed and handed to USPS within 1 to 3 business days. During market and festival weekends, holidays, and new release weeks it can take a day or two longer. You will get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Shipping rates

Shipping is calculated live at checkout based on the weight of your order and where it is going, so you pay the real carrier rate rather than a padded flat fee. Enter your address at checkout to see the exact cost and the available service options before you pay.

Heavier orders, and orders travelling across the country, cost more to ship. Combining several items into one order is almost always cheaper than placing separate orders.

Save on larger orders

Orders over $110 automatically get 10% off. No code needed, it is applied at checkout.

Delivery estimates

Within the United States, USPS Ground Advantage typically takes 2 to 5 business days after dispatch, and Priority Mail typically 1 to 3 business days. These are the carrier’s estimates, not guarantees. Weather, holidays and carrier backlogs can add time, and we do not have any control over a parcel once USPS has it.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking, which is emailed to you when the label is created. Please note that tracking sometimes takes 24 to 48 hours to start updating, which is normal and does not mean anything is wrong.

Lost, late or damaged parcels

If tracking has not moved in 7 business days, or your parcel is marked delivered but is not there, email Cece@CecesStories.com with your order number. We will help you chase it with USPS and we will work out a fair solution with you. If a parcel arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days and we will replace it.

Incorrect addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be re-sent once you cover the return postage. If you spot a mistake before your order ships, email us straight away and we will fix it.

International orders

We ship to a number of countries outside the United States, and international rates are also calculated live at checkout. International delivery times vary widely, commonly 1 to 4 weeks, and can be longer if a parcel is held in customs.

Any customs duties, import taxes or handling fees charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the price you pay here. We are required to declare the accurate contents and value of every parcel.
